Our Primary Focus Points

Organization:

Society’s members include various disciplines of management to draw a broad spectrum of views and creative ideas. Members will focus on the management of IT, the views of an IT-enabled organization and the increasing nature of IT needs in business today and in the future.

Knowledge:

By capturing member’s accumulated knowledge though experience, conversation and training, the Society develops fresh ideas that can be used by members to better serve the firms they support.  With the promotion of dynamic thought, ideas and training, members can provide better support, value and benefits to their business organizations.

Integrity:

The Society is designed as a forum of collective knowledge to share technology related findings, experience and issues related to Information Technology management. The Society does not share, distribute or record sensitive or competitive information that may compromise the integrity of a business organization represented by society members.

Best Practices:

Through communication and learning, society members share “IT Best Practices” with management within their organization. Best Practices are intended to be informational, facilitate the transfer of knowledge and shorten the learning curve for others who are addressing common issues. Learned Practices can be used to implement Procedural or Policy Manuals, and or Troubleshooting Guides. Society members may have opportunities to be involved in creating many and various Procedural Guides in relation to IT findings as outlined by the Society.

Business Continuance:

The society will maintain a focus on Disaster Recovery planning within the Information Technology element of business operations.
